The HIM20 Industrial Air Curtain is a high-powered, three-phase unit with an airflow reach of up to 7 meters, making it an ideal choice for large industrial doorways over 3.5 meters high. It provides a reliable solution for controlling incoming air in industrial environments.

Significant energy savings: Air curtains are strongly recommended for workshops and industrial buildings where open, oversized doors cause substantial energy loss and make it difficult to maintain the desired indoor temperature.

Contamination control and hygiene: Creates an effective barrier against insects, dust, smoke, and unpleasant chemical odors entering the workplace.

Optional Heating Coil

This unit can be ordered with a hot-water heating coil to provide additional warmth at the entrance while maintaining air separation.

Important: For the coil to provide adequate heating, the inlet water temperature must be at least 70°C. Wall-mounted boilers cannot supply the required temperature for this unit, so connection to a central boiler system is essential.

Electrical panel and VFD: The unit is equipped with a three-phase electrical protection panel. When ordered with a variable frequency drive (VFD), the motor speed can be adjusted; otherwise, the unit operates at a fixed speed.

Installation requirements (steel frame): Due to the unit’s considerable weight and power, it must be mounted on a steel frame. This frame is essential for supporting the weight and keeping the unit stable and level during operation.

Variable Frequency Drive (VFD)

The electrical protection panel for any three-phase air curtain model can be ordered with a variable frequency drive (VFD) to adjust and control motor speed. A VFD is mandatory for installation heights below 3.5 meters or above 4.5 meters, as well as for office and commercial applications, such as the DIM20.
